Removal & decommissioning

If it is bolted down, wired in, or holding up a floor, we can get it out.

We take equipment apart and get it out of the building. Machines, ovens, conveyors, overhead cranes, jib cranes, pallet racking, mezzanines — there is very little we have not taken down at some point.

Most of this work arrives one of two ways. Either a line is being retired and the floor needs clearing before something else goes in, or a facility is closing and everything has to go. Both run to a schedule, and both tend to have someone above you asking when the space will be free.

  • Machinery decommissioningDisconnected, dismantled, and out. Single machines or a whole production line.
  • Structural takedownOverhead cranes, jib cranes, mezzanines, racking, conveyors.
  • Building cleanoutsFull facility clearance when a plant closes or a lease ends.
  • Scrap handling and disposalWe handle the scrap side so you are not left with a pile of steel.

Removal does not have to cost you what you think. We buy surplus equipment outright. If what is coming out still has value, we will either purchase it or discount that value against the cost of the removal. It is worth asking before you write the whole job off as an expense.

Talk it through

Tell us what it is, roughly what it weighs, and how it has to come out. That is usually enough for a number.
